Folk Songs

Folk songs are a favorite part of our homeschool. Folk songs are a part of our culture and knowing their lyrics and tunes increases our knowledge of our past. It seems impossible to study history without singing "John Brown's Body" or "Loch Lomond". Singing folk songs is also a great way to pass the time on a walk, in the car, or while working.  You can read more on folk songs at Ambleside Online.
