Prayer Out, Iftar In

| | Comments (1)
Last night, Obama celebrated iftar, the Ramadan feast after a day of fasting, although he did not have a public ceremony for the National Day of Prayer. " 'Prayer is something that the president does everyday,' White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said." Yeah, I think he eats every day too but that didn't stop him from having a Ramadan party. The National Day of Prayer is an interfaith event. How inclusive is an iftar dinner? Not much. I'm still waiting to hear complaints from the atheists.

It kind of makes you wonder about him saying he isn't a muslim. See now I'm a Christian. I celebrate the Christian holidays not the holidays of other religions. Kinda makes you say, "Hmmm".
