Good for you. It's always refreshing to see someone makes sacrifices for what is right.
My grandmother was a teacher back in the old days when they still sang hymns in class and enforced corporal punishment. I can't imagine what she would think of the school system now.
This is why I teach in a small private school, even though I make less than half of what a public school teacher makes.
